Meridian Oncology Associates has a staff that includes highly trained oncology and chemotherapy nurses, nursing and high-quality lab department technicians, plus on-site radiology experts. Our insurance clerks are willing to help our patients with their insurance needs, our business office is sensitive to all patient and family needs and our administration promotes excellent healthcare and are available to help ease anxiety over financial matters. 

 

The entire staff works to provide quality, compassionate care, while assisting with navigating the many aspects of coping with cancer. It is our privilege to serve each patient with their individual needs.

Your First Visit

We are committed to making certain you receive the best possible medical care. For your first visit, please bring all your current medications (as well as supplements or vitamins you might take), insurance cards and a photo ID.

​

We also ask you to bring these items to subsequent appointments.

Office Hours/Appointments

Office hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Established patients can make appointments by calling 601.482.1555 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Fridays.

​

All new patients are physician referred.

​

Lab Appointments

Lab appointments are Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to noon.

​

You may be given special instructions when appointments are made for chemotherapy treatments and lab work.

When You Need to Call

You can call Meridian Oncology Associates at 601.482.1555. If you need to speak to a nurse, a message will be taken. Please give the receptionist your name, date of birth, phone number and a brief reason for your call. A nurse will call you back as soon as conditions permit or by the end of the day.

​

If you have an urgent call or an emergency, please indicate this to the receptionist so that your call can be handled appropriately.

​

For after-hours, please call the 601.482.1555 and the answering service will contact the physician on call. If you require immediate medical attention, please go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
